I have lived on a houseboat at The Riverbank for 30 years now. Along with my wife Jo at Shoreham by Sea. It’s a very special place and lovely houseboat community here. Every houseboat is unique and are very popular with site seers to Shoreham by Sea. We also have on our mooring a converted cabin cruiser we named Bunty. It has been saved, restored, and converted into a self-contained mini houseboat accommodation. It is very cute, comfortable and sleeps up to three people. With a large double bed and a single bed settee. Complete with a toilet and shower room (heads) well equipped kitchen (galley) and lounge (saloon) for relaxing. Just sit back with a drink and enjoy the view over the River Adur estuary which is a S.S.S. site and RSBB sanctuary. This is a very popular fishing location for Atlantic bass, 3 species of grey mullet to name a few. No fishing license is required here. Fishing season is from May till November. There is private and free parking on site. Plenty of good pubs and riverside restaurants within walking distance
