Wow! This took some waiting for. June 27th and only just landed a bass from the Adur. Yes I know it’s a schoolie but hey.

Caught my first bass of the year last Thursday. Plucked out of a school of mullet. Fishing with a mullet spoon, but had no rag, so ended up with a morsel of my snack bar on the hook. Bass might even have been smaller than yours, but it went back nice and safely with a vigorous kick.
